Last week I had the opportunity to talk on the air with Zach Moonshine at Metal Devastation Radio about the state of the music industry - especially the new price-gouging licensing fees being imposed on independent broadcasters - and sharing some thoughts on how we can reclaim OUR music industry.
Plus Zach cranked 2 tracks from Ol Sonuf! So if you missed it, check it out now!
Ol Sonuf's latest album "Iconoclast" was newly remastered today!

Happy New Year my friends!
Now that Ol Sonuf "Iconoclast" is complete and released, Laurie Ann Haus and I have been hard at work completing the new Todesbonden album, "Mythos," and we're really excited about how it's coming out so far!
We know it's been a long time since "Sleep Now, Quiet Forest," so here's a little behind the scenes peek at one of the songs we recently finished, as it was being recorded.
Stop by and LIKE us on Facebook to keep up with the album as it progresses!
Through no decision of my own, and much to my dismay, Jason Aaron Wood "Labyrinth of Dreams" and Ol Sonuf "Glass Idols" will be removed from all major distribution outlets in the near future. This includes iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, etc.
Apparently this is Reverbnation's way of thanking me for 3 years of giving them business, by automatically issuing "take down notices" for all albums released through them as a long-time paying customer. The moment my subscription ended, they set out to undo my work in misguided hopes of keeping me dependent upon continuously paying them for the duration of my career.
The good news is, these albums will continue to be available through my bandcamp page from now on along with all of my other releases.
Support artists directly, and avoid companies that work to undo musicians' hard work!
SHARE THIS with the musicians in your life!
Happy Halloween my friends!
Today I'm very excited to celebrate Halloween with the release of my new Ol Sonuf album "Iconoclast"!
It's been a long time coming, and to be honest, this album almost didn't happen - a few times!
But I'm confident that I've delivered my best material to date in this album, and I think you'll agree.

For my 3rd solo album, I've decided to give voice to my more Classic Metal and Hard Rock influences on "Labyrith of Dreams."
My new EP Labyrinth of Dreams is almost finished! It'll be released digitally on December 31, 2014, with a potential physical CD release sometime in 2015.
Over the next few weeks I'll be tracking the rest of the vocals, putting the finishing touches on the remaining songs, and mixing the album.
Although I'm currently recording my new solo album "Labyrinth of Dreams," featuring more of a Classic Metal/Heavy Rock sound, and which will be released by the end of 2014, things are already planned out into next year for the next album after that as well.
Here's a track from my upcoming Ol Sonuf extreme metal album "Iconoclast," coming out April 30, 2015. I'll be releasing Iconoclast as a companion CD, in a 2-disc digipak set along with 2013's "Glass Idols." (So if you already pre-ordered a copy of "Glass Idols," you will receive a copy of "Iconoclast" along with it on April 30 next year.)
With the Ol Sonuf Glass Idols album completed and released (at least digitally for the moment), in between ironing out some details in some new guest solos and getting back to work on the upcoming Todesbonden material, I've begun my next project - the quest to upgrade my whole pedalboard to INTEX cables. Just knowing how muffled normal cables are, I can't WAIT to hear how clear this thing finally sounds hooked up with the real deal.
That's it in a nutshell for this week!
